Village fairs are small exhibitions of novelties. It is usually held once a year on the banks of the river or in an open place under a large tree. It lasts from two to seven days or more. There are hundreds of stalls selling various products. Such as toys, dolls, balloons, ribbons, wooden utensils, clay pots, household items, baskets etc. There are plenty of sweet-meat stalls and they attract shoppers, especially children. The main attractions are circus parties, puppet shows and rides. People from all walks of life come to the fair. It creates waves of happiness all around. It is considered a meeting place for the old and the young, the rich and the poor.
